Segezha Group (operating as part of Sistema PJSFC) will invest RUB 1 billion in a comfortable working environment at the Segezha Pulp and Paper Mill, the company informed.
Under the Segezha West investment project of Segezha Pulp and Paper Mill reconstruction, Segezha Group is implementing the "Comfortable Factory" program in the Republic of Karelia to offer employees comfortable working and recreation conditions according to the best practices of global industry leaders.
The invested money will be used for improvements, new infrastructure, the removal of unused facilities and overhaul of production facilities, as well as cultural and sports facilities, the statement notes.
Segezha Group is a major Russian vertically-integrated timber processing holding with a complete cycle of timber procurement and advanced wood processing operations. The holding includes timber, wood processing, pulp and paper facilities located both in Russia and abroad. Segezha Group is the biggest forest user in the European part of Russia.
IFRS revenue of Segezha Group for 2018 increased by 32.4% to RUB 57.889 billion from RUB 43.725 billion. Adjusted OIBDA increased by 83.4% to RUB 12.984 billion from RUB 7.081 billion.
